The Secret of Tone and Sustain
The HH-555’s unique sound comes from its three-layer center block: a dense maple layer sandwiched between two thick, softer layers of solid spruce. Ten tone grooves on either side add extra resonance, producing a distinctive, singing quality reminiscent of early semi-acoustic guitars.
Daion was the first to use string-through-body technology on a semi-acoustic guitar, adding even more sustain.
