The Daion Year Jumbo Acoustic Series features high-quality jumbo acoustic guitars, available in both 6- and 12-string models.
With a solid cedar top, mahogany neck, and rosewood back and sides, these guitars combine classic aesthetics with a rich, well-balanced tone.
In addition, brass and maple bindings, gold Rotomatic tuners, and rosewood bridge pins provide a premium playing experience and outstanding durability.
The ’82 – Six-String Jumbo Acoustic
The six-string model features a solid cedar top finished in wine red, a mahogany neck, and rosewood back and sides.
The maple soundhole is trimmed with brass, while the rosewood fingerboard and bridge — together with the bridge pins and endpin — ensure solid construction.
The laminated headstock, finished in rosewood veneer with an inlaid brass logo, is outlined with maple binding.
Both the body and fingerboard feature the same maple and brass detailing.
Brass position markers and side dots allow for precise navigation along the neck.
Gold Rotomatic tuners keep the light-gauge strings perfectly in tune.
Original retail price (11/1982): $645.00 (ƒ 1,799.55)
The ’82 – Twelve-String Jumbo Acoustic
The twelve-string version shares nearly all the specifications of the six-string model: a solid cedar top, mahogany neck, rosewood back and sides, and a maple soundhole with brass trim.
It also features a rosewood fingerboard, bridge, and pins, along with a laminated rosewood headstock outlined in maple.
Gold Rotomatic tuners ensure excellent tuning stability.
With its paired strings, this model delivers a fuller, richer, and more resonant sound.
Original retail price (11/1982): $665.00 (ƒ 1,855.35)
